Zango.exe Removal

Zango is an entertainment site related to 180Solutions Zango site with free access to video content, music, and games amongst other downloads. Zango site and software is free to all users, since it is paid for by third party advertisements. Visitors are usually presented with an end user license agreement that they accept before downloading any content.

Zango provides a toolbar which can be installed in your browser to simplify searching of Zango content. Zango.exe is a process of this search assistant toolbar which is responsible for gathering your private data and sending it to third party servers for commercial analysis. This data is then processed in order to display relevant advertisements to what you most like to search for. Zango.exe also generates customized pop-up and pop-under advertisements.
Zango.exe process is reported as Adware. Adware is different from Spyware which is more malicious than Adware. Adware is also known as advertising software. Adware is often based on context or behavior of the user’s browsing habits in order to display ads that are meant to be relevant to the user. Adware apps are installed into one’s computer most often by user’s consent. This happens when users agree to some end-user license agreement without reading it, where it states that it will be actively monitoring and displaying advertisements (in the form of pop-ups, pop-unders, banners or links embedded within the application being installed, web pages, or Windows interface) on your computer in turn for getting some type of service out of the application being installed.
If you have Zango.exe process present in your Task Manager, it is advised that you kill the process.
